NCLEX-PN content review practice exam

A large bank of original NCLEX-PN content-review questions mapped to the four Client Needs categories: multiple choice, select-all, true/false and fill-in.

5,096 questions in the bank · exam 75 questions · 90-minute time limit · pass mark 65%

This practice exam draws on a large bank of original questions written by iBee tutors and organized by the NCLEX Client Needs categories used on the NCLEX-PN (practical/vocational nurse). Use quick practice for a short untimed set, or practise by topic to drill one category at a time.

The bank covers:

  • Safe and Effective Care Environment (management of care, safety and infection control)
  • Health Promotion and Maintenance
  • Psychosocial Integrity
  • Physiological Integrity (basic care, pharmacology, risk reduction, physiological adaptation)

Every question has an explanation, and your results show a score for each category so you know what to review.

This is a knowledge and content review, not a simulation of the adaptive NCLEX or its Next Generation case studies. These are original practice questions, not real NCLEX items, and the real exam is computer-adaptive with pass/fail based on ability, not a percentage. Check the NCSBN test plan for current details. See our nursing study support for NCLEX tutoring.
