We want you to be happy with your order. If something goes wrong, contact us first: a free revision or a new deadline often solves the problem faster than a refund.
How to ask for a refund
Open the order in your dashboard and choose Request a refund, giving the reason. Our finance team reviews each request, usually within 2 working days, and tells you the decision by email.
How much we refund
| When you ask | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before an expert has been assigned | 100% of what you paid |
| After an expert is assigned, when less than half of the time to the deadline has passed | 70% of what you paid |
| After an expert is assigned, when more than half of the time has passed | Considered case by case |
| After the work has been delivered | No refund; free revisions apply (see below) |
| We delivered late without an agreed extension | 100% of what you paid |
| We cannot provide the service, or we cancel your order | 100% of what you paid |
For quoted services, tutoring and planning, the same stages apply: "assigned" means an expert or advisor has started working with you.
Revisions
After delivery you can ask for free revisions within the revision period shown on your order, as long as the changes stay within your original instructions. A revision is usually ready within 48 hours.
Deposits and partial payments
If you paid a deposit, refunds are calculated on the amount you have actually paid.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the PayPal account or card you paid with. PayPal usually shows them within a few days; card refunds can take up to 10 working days to appear, depending on your bank.
Unpaid and cancelled orders
You can cancel an order that has not been paid at any time, at no cost. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after 7 days.
PayPal disputes
If you open a dispute with PayPal, the order is paused while it is reviewed. Contacting us first is usually quicker.
