This policy explains what personal information iBee Homework Solutions ("iBee", "we") collects when you use https://ibeehomeworksolutions.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@iBeeHomeworkSolutions.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only in scrambled form that nobody, including us, can read), country, time zone and, if you choose, your phone number and academic level.
- Order details: the service you order, your instructions and answers to the questions on the order form, and the files you upload (for example assignment briefs, documents to edit or transcripts).
- Messages: conversations on your orders with iBee Support and your expert, support requests, and reviews you choose to leave.
- Payment information: payments are handled by PayPal. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, PayPal transaction numbers and the PayPal email address used. We never see or store your card number.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, recorded in security and error logs.
- Cookies: a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work. See our cookie policy.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

Who can see your information
- Your expert (writer, editor, tutor or advisor) sees your order instructions, files and messages on that order. Experts see you only by an account number. They do not see your name, email address, phone number or what you paid.
- iBee staff see what they need for their role (support, finance, content or administration). Staff accounts are protected with two-step sign-in.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us:
- PayPal, to process payments and refunds, under PayPal's own privacy statement;
- our web hosting and email provider, which stores the website, database and files and delivers our emails;
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on our pages (your browser requests the fonts from Google, so Google receives your IP address);
- WhatsApp, only if you choose to contact us there.
- Authorities, only where the law requires us to share information, for example a valid court order. We check every request and share only what is required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with your school, university or employer.
International transfers
Our team and service providers may be in different countries from you, including Kenya and the countries where our hosting provider and PayPal operate. When information moves between countries we use providers with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep information
- Files attached to or delivered for an order are deleted 12 months after the order is finished (completed, cancelled or refunded). The order record stays so we can help with questions later.
- Account and order records are kept while your account is open and for a reasonable time afterwards to deal with questions, disputes and legal claims.
- Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong (you can update most of it yourself in your profile);
- ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons;
- object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time;
- complain to a data protection authority, such as Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords in scrambled form, keep uploaded files in private storage that only the right people can open, limit staff access by role, require two-step sign-in for staff, and record sensitive staff actions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.
Children
Our services are intended for people aged 18 or over. Younger students may use them only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the version and effective date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or on the site.
