Confidentiality

How we keep your identity and your work private.

Effective 6 October 2026 · version 1

Using iBee is private. Here is what that means in practice.

Your identity

  • Experts never see who you are. Writers, editors, tutors and advisors see you only by an account number, never your name, email address, phone number or what you paid.
  • We do not tell anyone you use iBee. We do not contact your school, university or employer, and we do not share our customer list.
  • Contact details stay out of messages. Messages that contain phone numbers, email addresses or outside links are held for a quick check before delivery, which protects both you and our experts.

Your files and work

  • Files are kept in private storage. Only you, your assigned expert and the iBee staff who need them can open them.
  • We never publish your work, your instructions or your files, and we do not use them as samples.
  • Files are deleted 12 months after an order is finished.

Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal. iBee does not see or store card numbers.

Our staff and experts

Everyone who works with iBee agrees to keep customer information confidential. Staff accounts use two-step sign-in, and sensitive actions are recorded.

When we must share information

We share information only as described in our privacy policy: with service providers that run parts of the service for us, and with authorities when the law requires it, for example a valid court order. We check every such request and disclose only what is required.
